Hi, completely noob question here. Wondering if anyone could help.
I've never worked with 4K footage before, but am preparing to. However, the delivery format is HD.
To get the best results, should I edit in an HD timeline, and scale the clips to match the sequence, or should I edit in a 4K timeline and only convert to HD on export?
Or doesn't it make any difference?
Incidentally, I'm using Premiere Pro. (Does that make a difference? Does Adobe's encoder function any differently from FCP's or Avid's, etc?)
