Scaling A clip

how do you scale a clip to exactly half or quarter of its original size?

I want to do a few things. Have two clips next to each other, each taking up half the frame. Four clips in the frame, each in a corner. Etc.

I can only seem to do it with the wire frame and the corner adjustment.

After you add a clip to the timeline, double-click on it to load it into the viewer. Click on the MOTION tab. In SCALE type in 50 or 25...whatever percentage you want.
