Goona get this asap. Hope B&H get it very soon. Anyone know the rrp? I think I saw somewhere about $500 but I woulda thought it would take over the SB800's pricepoint and the SB800 would drop.

That's what I'm hoping for, 'cause I need a flash, and it's definitely not in my budget at the moment. My car's in the shop...

I'm been contemplating a SB-600, but I figured I'd wait a bit to see what happens. Hopefully the wait has paid off...
 
For what it's worth, I love the SB600. Does a lot less than an 800, but does almost everything you really need or want it to do.

I don't know Dan, but if that's the case, I'm sold. That's my biggest problem right now, if I'm hearing you right. My ability to correctly white balance for a headshot sucks arse.
 
I'm hoping that the SB-800 will drop in price so I can grab me on of them sweet little things. Definitely not in the need for a 900 (although the guide is pretty sweet), would rather buy a Q-Flash or something of that nature before that. I love my SB-600, but its not enough!

And Alveraz i think what might be your problem is that your bulb in your flash is starting to lose its kick. Much like a HMI bulb from Film type hot lights, they start losing there color temperature overtime until they burn out. Time for a new flash?
