Well actually I am...

All help and suggestions for some of the special effects used, plugins etc. very appreciated. I have a real good feel for how to do much of it, but there are some parts I'm not so sure of but this is what the client wil want. Assume no limit on budget for plugin's etc. Let me know what it would take to recreate this...

i'm not inclined to watch an hour of footage from a dance club, so can you point to specific parts you need to recreate?
the open looks like some blurred night footage with what vegas would call microscopic threads on top of it. to create those just go to insert/generated media/sony noise noise texture and use preset "Microscopic Threads 2" and pick the color of your choice. use the keyframes and "progress" to make it "move."
i don't think vegas has transitions like the sparkle/fireworks style ones that bring in the text, so that might require either a third party plugin or another program entirely. newbluefx appears to have some interesting stuff...
 
Thanks and yea that is what I think I'm going to do, get New Blue FX they seem to have a lot of what it would take to re-create this.
 
i think newbluefx would definitely help but most of these effects if i remember can be done with basic vegas pro9.

Well saving me $400 dollars would be nice and is one of the reasons I posted the quesiton :)

Any hints on how to accomplish?
