Last week I sold my DVX-100A that I bought new in February 2004. Sugery last summer makes it hard for me to carry around a camera and tripod. The last three such outtings, even with help, took me days to recover.

But I will remember this camera, the over 125 sermons, taping the Gay Pride Parade in San Diego, video for the State of Arizona along with other tapings for several ministries. Even a wedding. I DON"T DO WEDDINGS!

However the event that I will remember most is while in San Diego walking up to a commercial TV truck in San Diego at the Gay Pride Parade, and there the cameraman with a $90,000.00 Sony in his hand, stopping in his tracks, called the talent back to the truck and there for at least 10 minute, me and mostly my camera were the center of their attention. My little Panasoiic was all he could talk about. WOW!! I could not however take my eyes off the Sony.

Great Camera. Great memories. Thanks Panasonic.

Dude... sorry to hear you had to give up the DVX. What are friends for? Your friends should have been helping you... Oh well. Don't give in.... there are some smaller camera's. If you can't do the shooting, maybe you should just direct and edit. Hang in there. Best of luck... stay positive.

So are you giving up filmmaking all together?

Will you be editing or working on other sets with friends or anything?
