Saw Voiceover

Hey guys,

What I need is some sort of voice distorter that would emulate Jigsaw's voice as heard during his taped voiceovers in the SAW series.

I've been looking for a voiceover program on the internet for awhile, but have been pretty unsuccessful so far, and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for a program, or if any of the crappy NLE programs could do this with their limited audio editing. (such as Vegas)

If you have any suggestions that would be great. Also, a free program would be prime as well. Thanks!

Not realy familar with the voice (only saw part of the first one) but I seem to remember his voice just seemed to be pitched down really low, maybe some distortion, reverb, and noise added.

Hope that helps

Play with effects in Sound Forge, Cubase, or ProTools and you should be fine. Wabbit is right, just some pitching, distortion, and a mild metallic like reverb with a strong decay should work well. I would set a fast attack, slow sustain, fast delay and be fine with it all.

Alright,
Thanks guys, I'll try to mess with the audio on my current editor for now. If that doesn't work I'll start looking for a better program.

Hopefully if I get a sample I'll post it up for you guys to check out. Thanks!

Great, lookin forward in seeing it - I might wanna distort some audio files too..
Any free prog. that I can dl?
