Saving FX presets

So yesterday I wanted to reuse a Text Generated Media clip that I had created in an earlier piece. I hit save preset and named it It's a title clip where the opening text kind of flys in by using keyframes, but whenever I would save it only the first keyframe came with it. Is there a way to save this where the entire movement of the text that was created based on keyframes comes with it? It seemed like it depended where my marker was on the timeline as to what keyframe was saved. But couldn't figure out how to save the entire thing with all keyframes. Any help? Peg

saving "presets" only saves the settings of what you did to the FX not how -where you put the keyframes ... so if you have yellow color for text and use 20pt font that is saved and not teh keyframes where over a 2 sec section you change the yellow text into red text or you have the font change to 14pt and move it from top to bottom over X seconds .. that is why you are only seeing the 1st keyframe saved ...
if you want to use the generated media again have you tried copy/paste the generated media ? into new TL or use it again in same piece ...

or create your generated media in a time line by itself and then save that as a VEG .. when you want to use it in another project just drop the VEG into the time line ( vegas 6)
