Save settings on exit???

When I used Adobe Premiere, I liked the fact that when I closed a project, it retained settings like timeline zoom and cursor position on the timeline -- so the next time I opened that project, I knew right where I'd left off and could pick it back up.

But when I close a Vegas 8.0c project and re-open it, the timeline zoom goes back to the default and the timeline cursor position is at the beginning of the timeline.

Is there any way to get Vegas to retain the settings like Premiere did?

There must not be any way to do this.

As far as I know, no. However, you can add a Marker in the timeline where you left off. Just press "M", enter some text, and hit "ENTER". Then when you start your project back up, place your cursor at the marker, zoom in, and you're all set. Very simple and easy.
