Saturn to become a new sun!

Mmmm methane.

This topic reminds me of my Woodshop teacher. He told us, in class, that he believed that aliens gave us microchips because 'how can we create something so complex?'

But of course it's only because he doesn't understand the technology itself, and therefore he's trying to explain the unexplained.

I think Mr. Cheney said it best...

"Because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

That was The Donald (Rumsfeld, not Trump).

But they did. Not to mention CD's. I saw it in Men in Black, and Tommy Lee Jones wouldn't lie to me! :D

A consequence of crap science education. Without any grasp of how processes work and technology is developed, it all looks like woo-woo gizmos from outer space. Kind of like the Pacific Islander cargo cults: can't understand something so it must be magic (or alien intervention).

Of course, the islanders have an excuse. No one living in a technological society where the information is available for the asking, does.

Jon, you've had some pretty messed up teachers. :)
