hello.

i know its not nice to post for sale stuff in here BUT everytime i post something in the marketplace i get at least 5-10 stupid questions...

like if they can use a mixer inbetween their on camera mic and their dvx/hvx!

so anyway, most people in this forum know me, i have bought and sold a ton of stuff with zero problems.

i have an absolutely mint condition, brand new Sanken CS3e with windscreen.

i bought both the cs3e and the schoeps cmit5u as i couldn't find any dealer who had both in stock so i could audition them both.

the mic has only been used indoors at my house for testing.

it comes with a foam windscreen and i have the original sanken box.

$1,200 includes shipping to the lower 48 states.

i chose the cmit5u because my favorite mic is my schoeps cmc6/cut1/mk41 and the cmit5u just sounded a little bit better and similar to my cmc6/mk41.

that and the switches on it give you some neat options for tweaking it a little bit.

it was fairly close to a toss up but i was fortunate that the price difference wasn't a big deal at that time as i had just finished two indie features back to back.

Absolute mint condition, never used for production, just tested it out at home and then put it in box.
