Sanken COS-11XPT?

Same mic, terminated for EW G2/G3 systems.

Note the manufacturer's part number listed on the B&H page: Mfr# COS-11D PT-BK-EW

"PT" means "Pig Tails" and that means that the end is just 2 wires, rather than a connector. Hey here's a shootout I did that has both the COS11D and the ME-2 if you want to hear the difference.

The D (latest) version can be bought for $300 wired for your system of choice (at least that's what I paid for mine wired for Lectrosonics) at a local New York dealer (I believe price would be the same if they shipped it to you, not sure though).

PM me for more information.

300.00 sounds too good to be true. It's usually around 380.00 or so. B&H usually has the going price on everything. There are some scam stores in NY that are not fun to deal with.

Chadfish, I won't give out their name here since it would be considered advertising (which AFAIK is prohibited on this forum) but I can assure you that it is one of most reputable dealers / rental houses here in NY. The prices on their website reflect MSRP but if you call them or show up at their store they'll usually give you a much better deal, often below B&H.

If you want you can send me a PM and I'll be glad to give you their name, but it's no big secret really.

marsupilami_4 it's OK to mention business names and link to products. Especially when you have found a deal! "Marketing" means that you are employed by a company and you are using the forum to basically place ads. Anyway I got my COS11D for around 380.00, so if you can get one for 300.00 wired up for your gear, that's an awesome deal.

Well in that case I'm happy to share it, it's Professional Sound Services.

I've bought a lot of gear from them, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff. The last COS11D I bought from them was a couple months ago so it's not impossible that they raised the price since then.

Looks like PT versions are 329.00, and the rest are 450.00. That's higher than the norm.
Again, prices on the website reflect MSRP, if you call them they should give you a different quote.
I've noticed this on other dealer's websites too (sometimes there isn't any price and it says "call for quote"), I think the manufacturers don't allow them to display "discounted" price.

So there is a difference between this and the ordinary version? (in quality?)

What do you mean by "ordinary" version?

The COS-11D is the latest and only version available, the other ones have been discontinued and no longer appear on Sanken's product website. The only difference between the D version and the previous one AFAIK is better RFI shielding when used with digital transmitters (shouldn't make a difference with a traditional analog transmitter). And the extra letters (PT, RM, etc.) have to do with things such as the type of connector attached (if any) or a reduced sensitivity (http://www.sanken-mic.com/en/product/index.cfm for more information).
