Sanken COS-11D vs COS-11X?

I'm looking to purchase a Sanken COS-11. I see two models. A COS-11D and a COS-11X. What are the differences between them and which one should I get??? Also I need one with a Sennheiser G3 plug. Does Sanken factory wire them or does the store (B&H for instance) wire them? Who should I buy it from? Thanks

A quick search on the sanken homepage gave this.
In 2009, Sanken introduced the COS-11D, a new version of the popular lavalier which overcomes digital transmitter RFI (radio frequency interference).
COS-11x is the earlier model. They should be fairly identical besides that change. There are several variants of each.

Regarding your second question, contact sanken and ask them - noone is more qualified.

- AFAIK, B&H does no 'custom wiring'. Your 'local' location sound shop usually can, if a piece of gear does not already come pre-wired from the manufacturer.
'Local' NY stores include Gotham, Pro Sound, Dale and Markertek. Coffey, Trew, LSC, TAI and Wilcox are 'other usual suspects' but not in NY. All of which would love to have your business and can usually match the price of a 'big box' store like B&H, but with much better customer service, should one need help or have questions.
