Sand bags

$1 store, get a couple of black hand bags, (Don't laugh), go to the beach & fill em. Mine work great and cheap!

I got mine from Filmtools in Burbank but I can't imagine buying them and having them shipped...the shipping would cost more than the sandbags themselves.

Used mine the other night, worked great. And being bags, they have a zipper already. Hey, gotta cut corners someplace, lol.

Thanks, I think I might try to buy some from a local retal house or make my own as stated above.
I did that recenly got really nice ones saddle style heavy duty filled with aquarium gravel which is better than sand and less likely toleak out. The big lighting and grip rental house go through them regularly and if you just want a couple I am sure you will find a good deal .

Get mine from ebay. Seller 2dreammaker starts at .99 with 9.00$ shipping. I never pay more than 10.50$ for them when I win them. Just won 2 about 2 weeks ago. They will also have a buy it now of 12 bags for 120$, no shipping cost.

Many people get "inner tubes" (the kind for your car) and cut them into 3 parts
fill them with sand and then with small parts of wood drill it shut

easy work
