I am looking for a shooter in the San Francisco area to attend a half-ironman triathlon on July 31st and shoot one or two specific athletes before, during and after the race.
Press credentials will be provided, and you would be shooting for a documentary that has been following four elite triathletes as they prepare for the world championship race in Kona, HI later this year.
We are shooting the film using in widescreen 24pa using Panasonic cameras, and are looking for someone to cover this race for us, since our travel schedule doesn't allow us to attend. So, we're looking for someone with a DVX100a, or alternatively if you shoot on DVCPRO50 in 24pa, that would be even better.
The race is called Vineman Half Iron Distance, and is located a couple hours north of San Francisco.
The race starts early on the 31st, and lasts for approximately 4 hours. We'd be looking at having footage shot before, during and a bit afterwards. There's a good chance our athletes will win, or be in the top finishing positions.
For more information, please email dvxshooter@x.getalive.com. Compensation is negotiable, but will be provided.
