Sample screenplays with all the annoying...

Hello all,

New member here but long time reader. Thanks to everbody who has ever posted anything on here. Even if it was stupid, it helped.

I apologize if this has been answered, but it's a bit tedious to search on here:

Is there a made screenplay or sample screenplay with all the annoying difficult elements and how to use them and which situations to use them in? I've read books but I either forgot or it didn't mention them. Please send me anything - links, movie names...

Also can somebody answer this?

For an insignificant character with 1 line in the whole movie, but necessitates an action AFTER the 1 line of dialogue, do I still CAPITALIZE the name in the action. Also, for similar characters with few lines, do they need a first name in the action if she is the mother of a character, and is referred to as Mrs. Johnson in ALL the dialogue. Do I need to acknowlege that Mrs. Johnson is a character's mother, if it should be known already by reading the dialogue?

SORRY for the 3 part question and THANK YOU ahead of time. :Drogar-Kriz(DBG):

1. You always capitalize the name the first time we see a character on screen, this is to help in the script breakdown as we plan out the shoot. from then on the character is not capitalized in the action.

2. I think for other names the key is consistency and understandability. Keep whatever name you call them the same through out in the action. The goal for is for everyone on production team to know who is in each scene.

3. Is it important that the audience knows that this is so and so's mom? Then it has to be in dialogue or shown through some sort of action. If it ain't on the page it ain't on the stage

hope that helps
