Hi guys,
I hope this is the right place to post this.
Ive recorded a voice from a wedding reception direct from the DJ board using Zoom H1.

but I have notice when I play the sound on most mobile phone (the voice is very low), but its very clear and loud when using a standard speakers.

Can anyone help whats is going on @@ (I been scratching my head now and I need to deliver the video soon to my client)
here is the sample voice:

What I can do in post using audition to fix it?
Thank you!

Good news first.. the levels are ok, aside from a few minor instances of clipping (which could be the AAC encode). Bad news, the left and right channels are out-of-phase .. which cancels the audio out when the two channels are combined to mono. You probably recorded from a balanced output.. in which, the hot and cold terminals are 180 degrees out of phase. Re-render using only one channel..
FYI, a two channel stereo file is normally not needed for spoken word. As a bonus, a PCM file would be half the size.

wow Thanks for the precious information!

Didn't know the phase will cause such a problem.

Thank you!

btw which is the right method to fix this?

From my understanding a balanced xlr will canceled out the noise while the signal traveling the cable.

inverse one of the channel or copy one channel to another?
Will I introduce the noise?

Thanks!

Sure, but you didn't record "balanced" You recorded Left unbalanced.
And you also recorded Right unbalanced which happened to be the opposite polarity of Left.

Just pick one of the channels (typically "Left") and mute/ignore the other one.
After the fact, there is no benefit to trying to invert or otherwise use the opposite-phase "Right" channel.

If you are taking a balanced signal and recording it to a TRS stereo input, you need an adapter cable wired properly:

I would also probably just use one channel. But in theory inverting one and then summing them together would give you a +3dB gain and cancel any hum/ buzz that is there, but only if you are exactly 180 out of phase.

In your case it sounds like you have plenty of gain, don't have noticeable hum or buzz and it sounds like it's not exactly 180 degrees out of phase. If it was it wouldn't get lower it would be gone. If they are not exactly 180 out of phase then inverting and summing would produce big problems.
