Hello all, I just moved to St. Louis. Just wondering if there is anyone on this board who is involved in the film scene here. If so let me know! Thanks...

I'm in Springfield, MO, just 3 1/2 hours away.
I can't speak to members of this board, but there is a general film scene in this state, although you wouldn't know it at first glance. In Springfield we have the Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield, which although having just formed, is already a great resource. I know that there are groups in St. Louis, but I couldn't tell you names. Check out the Film Fests up there and I'm sure you can find what you're looking for.
There's also the Missouri Film Commission. You can google for their website and get some information there.
Hope that helps.
Chris

I was in that market in college and I know a whole lot about it.
I know who to join forces with and who to avoid.
Two great guys to start with are Adam Hackbarth at www.stlfilmwire.com and Doug Whyte at www.dhtv.org.
