Looking for extra costs associated with using sag actor/actors vs non-union (Insurance, work mans comp, any bonds/fees sag might require) under the short film contract.
The film is a western with five speaking parts, three locations. No horses (although the director would have access to some for background). No squibs, but a replica non-working gun is essential to the story.
Extras would be very few if any. At this point no one is being paid (sag would be deferred), but this could change.
The film should be roughly twelve minutes long and take 3-5 days to shoot.
The director made a short last year from a screenplay I wrote and I'm very happy with the job he did. Looking for a ballpark estimate before I/we go down this road. This will be shot outside Austin Tx. Thanks in advance.
