Has anyone out there used either one or both of these heads? I am looking to put together a new tripod package and am using the advice given by many people to not skimp on the tripod. I am lookng for something that is going to work well with a variety of camera setups in a variety of shooting situations. I currently own the 100B and I like the Sachtler heads because of the 2-_ pound weight range. I want a 100 mm bowl because of the versatility it provides with other configurations. Everyone seems to like the Sachtler DV6 w/ the Solo DV legs so I am going to do the same thing only jump up the Solo VJ legs with the 100mm bowl. I am getting off track now, but I mainly want to know what people think about the DV8sb 100mm, or if anyone thinks that it is worth the extra $350 to get the DV 12sb. Again, sorry for rambling.
