Rycote S-Series size question

Hello
Im looking for a shock mount that I can use with both my mics. I was thinking about the s-sieries 450 kit for my AT835b mic, but I also wanted to be able to use the same shock mount for a AT4053b which is only 6.10 inches long. Do you think I could use the shock mount for the 4053b? I dont plan on using the blimp with it, just the shock mount.

Yes, it should work fine.

The S-series mount will take any mic. from 19mm to 25mm in diameter and the mounts can be moved up and down the bar for different length mics.

So - no problem at all.

Though, personally, I would get an INV-7 for the 4053b.
