RV/Motorhome for on location?

Has anyone ever managed to get an RV or motorhome for FREE for shooting on location? I'm working on my budget (which is like zero) for a 2 day shoot on my short film next month and trying to see if it's possible to get an RV donated for 2 days (or even 1 day would be great). I would normally use our cars to change but since I have female actors on set, a MU person and food AND we're shooting in 85deg temps here in Florida, an RV makes a lot more sense. Thing is they're like $650/day plus gas to run the A/C all day.

Curious if anyone got one or something similar donated for their shoot?

Cheers

I doubt that you will be able to find a free RV unit for your project unless you have a friend who has one. . . or knows someone with one. Dealers are not interested in freebees. They don't recieve any benefit yet must assume liability and facilities maintenance when their units are used and off of their lot. A manufacturer wants documentation of perceived value for use of their product. They just won't mess with it unless the request has gone through several approval channels. Anyone requires insurance and/or proof of financial responsibility.
Most production companies rent such units. . . and insure them. It is just part of doing business. Maybe you could checkout getting a stand-up tent or a friend's van. Also you need to consider a honeywagon and facility for craft services before taking actors and crew out to a remote area.
You might find a home or small business near the location with whom you can work a deal. Of course you might include a local RV dealer's kids in the cast and get a unit for free.
Good luck.
