Russian animation video

Interesting. I'd have to watch it a few times to fully understand the story probably but I get the theme. A cultural thing I suspect.

I've always enjoyed stop motion and claymation.
Just for the record, what is the usual animation rate they work at?
I'm guessing around 12 to 15 fps. (I could google it I know.)

Cinealma was experimenting with a stop motion short for the twilight fest. I'd hate to ask him for an update at this point, but I'd love to see what he could do. I hope he makes it in.

Nice find. Thanks.

//I found a few interesting sites looking for the official stop motion frame rate (but it may depend on the animator)...

I didn't watch this but I am under the impression that most animation is done on twos, meaning one set up for every two frames shot.

I really enjoyed that animation!

I think I understood it:

Essentially showing how we start off as one community, become divided because of differences, fight over virtual borders that we ourself create, and the evolution of war, that ultimately leads to our common destruction.

Another guy with a style I love is a guy here at Dvxuser.
I've been working with him for a few months trying to put something together.

I would love to see his artwork put into animation, as would he. If anyones interested in working with him, you can reach him here...

Anhar,
That's what I got from it, as well. Very true and something that we shouldn't forget.

@ Gord, thanks for the kind words Sir!

John, so strange I was just thinking the same thing, I already have a basic digital still camera and Vegas, just need a tripod.

Check google, lots of excellent tutorials out there.
