Running Sony Vegas under Windows 10

Please report here any issues with Vegas running under Windows 10.

Microsoft will start sending out download/install notifications "... after July 29th" according to published material.

Read some of the stuff online about the new update policy...home premium users will have no say in when updates are uploaded to your machine and installed. Pro version users will have limited say when but no ability to stop updates. If the updates occur during a day long render session, what happens then?

Al, unless things are changing, downloads from Microsoft are not likely to start up when your PC is doing resource-intensive processing. At the least I would expect with Windows 10 and advisory with the option to let an update move forward or keep it from going forward until later.

I have updated one machine here to Windows 10 and done limited testing of Vegas 13 - no unusual behavior to report so far.

Vegas 12 is also running happily under Win 10 on my 5-year-old laptop, so far.

I expect the most likely problems will be for users with weird hardware or input/output devices - just as for new versions of Vegas itself.

Working perfectly, even smoother than before. Vegas PRO 12. Windows 10 is the OS I've been waiting for since XP, what a sleek, fast and intuitive system

Extremely recommended for Vegas users.
