Running FCP3 w/ a Mac Mini

After i buy my camera (dvx100) im planning to buy a mac computer and run final cut pro 3 on it. I dont have alot of money to spend so im currently looking into the Mac Minis. Does anyone know if they can run FCP3 smoothly? Im switching from windows so im kind of lost on this.

I asked this before, the answer is yes, but it's not upgradable, and in the end, The mac mini isn't really made for it.
 
I just switched from windows. I bought a mac mini used it for about a week. It worked for FCP 4.5 ok but could not load motion. I took it back and jumped up to a power mac dual 2.0. I really liked the mini but I couldn't get the firewire to work into FCP. It worked for IMOVIE just fine. Others have reported no problems. It will get you started.
