Running a Marshall from a MacBookPro

Is it possible to hook a Marshall using the component connectors up to the DVI out on a MacBookPro/Powerbook?
I'm aware some type of conversion box would be required, but this (in theory) would enable you to run the Marshall as your second 'broadcast' monitor from inside FCP, enabling a very good field editing system.
