Screengrab? Well - yes, it's a DVX cut but it's really about the codec.
FCP? Well - yes, but why just annoy Mac users? They've got their own issues.

This clip is 8.1 megs for 1:33 minutes. Yes, a little big - but not by too much.

It was compressed for 320x240 and then the web page 2x'd it so you could see how well it scales. H.264.

glad to see you are impressed! me, a bit blown away by demos. well, alot.

been to busy to even do the proper backup and then install routine, but now you are making me anxious..
 
I know what you mean Pooh. I had pre ordered OSx 10.4 and still wasn't ready when it came. I spent 6 hours on Friday burning DVDs on 2 machines, and transferring alot to a Firewire hard drive. Then I kept some of the stuff on, just to see how it handled the transition. All went well. Spotlight really will change how you use your computer. And of QT7, Wow! I've been using QT since like, 2.5, and this is by far the most incredible version. I have a 23" lcd Apple display, and the HD samples and music video samples are stunning. The Aimee Mann and Toby Mac videos are SO good full screen. And the Batman trailer is great too. I would highly recomend the switch. You won't be sorry.

You guys aren't talking about anything (QT7) that WM9 hasn't been able to do for years. So, welcome to the club! :beer:
 
Well, if QT7 implements it better, then I'll go with QT7 (for stereo clips). Won't know that for a while, though.
 
I believe QT7 will be more universal than what windows will do with wm9... as soon as it's available for pc.

From what I've heard, QT7 will do Surround! Been waiting for that for awhile...

Sure, 99% of the viewers won't have the hardware to actually listen to it in surround, but the cool factor still exists!
 
Well, as I said . . .

If QT7 is better (quality vs. filesize), I’ll use it. If it’s not, I won’t. We’ll see how it plays out.
