Rubberbanding audio in vegas.

Does anyone know how to lower the volume of the music during certain parts of the song like when someone starts talking but you still want the music playing. In premier you single click the point and drag it down but I am new to vegas and haven't figured it out yet. John Hudson said in another post you pretty much do the same thing but I can't get it to work. Any help please

Insert an audio volume envelope then right click on it to add points and drag around.

Yeah. Add two points on the left of the area you want to lower then two points on the right. You can then drag the middle area as a straight line.
