rubber crutch tips or tennis balls for floor protection

Which of these do you prefer to put on stand legs when you want to protect floors? I've used both based on what production was able to procure, but wanted to see what your preferences are.

Shoutout to all grips and location managers!
 
Some of that depends on whether you want to easily glide around or if you want more grip. Tennis balls will slide more easily than crutch tips.
 
I've always just carried a big bag of tennis balls in the van. It's nice to be able to semi-slide the stands around (on certain surfaces).
