That's Tuvan throat singing. It's an amazing technique where they produce harmonics normally impossible for the human voice to create. The end result is much like the syrinx of a songbird where multiple sounds are created at the same time.

It does sound funny though...

For a more musical samples try the group Huun Huur Tu. They have several CDs out.

Holy Crap!
Now i get it. At one point that guy generated harmonics that sounded like a flute.
What an amazing thing.
Would be so cool if i could do that.
Karaoke night would never be the same.
