Roundtripping to STP causes OOS - help?

I'm sending one clip to Soundtrack Pro from FCP as an audio. Doing a Noise Removal and saving the action as an Applescript. After roundtripping back to FCP, this clip is fine.

All clips are from the same camera, same time, same setup,etc., so noise is the same on all clips. But, if I send a second clip to STP using the Applescript, the clip comes back Out-of-Sync (OOS).

If I roundtrip the clip manually, it is not OOS, but then this kinda defeats the purpose of the Applescript function.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I'm pretty new at STP, and I'm following the Apple APTS tutorial for this.
 
After much googling, I find that this is a common bug in STP, that STP does not adjust automatically for frame rate, and basically, it makes any round trip files OOS. And this has been my experience trying out various options over the last couple days.

Pretty lame, kinda defeats the "Send To" feature, making it worthless. Apparently, the only way to use STP is to save out your work as an AIFF and reimport into the project.

Oh, and Apple isn't any help either. All links for "solutions" go back to the same Apple forum post which is completely irrelevant to this issue.

If anybody else has any ideas or different experiences, I'd be happy to see them.
