So we really cant use a picture we've already taken? (another film guy here, and i only really shoot slides, so it takes a while)

No that's part of the beauty of it. You have to take a new photo based on the contest theme.

Cryogenic is correct, all images should be taken during the period from when the contest is announced until when the submission is due. We're working with the honor code here, so we are not requiring you to submit a RAW file or anything like that, but it's all for fun, so play nicely.

Don't forget that there's $50 going to charity if we have 50 entries. So, if you can't shoot what you want, then just submit a photo taken with your mobile phone and that will be good enough. :) Seriously. TheYankee didn't say that had to be good entries. hehehehe

I'll get something done, most likely with the DVX again. I don't own a digital still camera.
Shoot it without the letterbox :) that way we won't know it's you. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I didn't have time to shoot film like I wanted to, so had to revert to my old piece of $*** point and shoot digital cam.

But I will have an entry.

That's pretty close to what I had in mind. :) I don't care about being anonymous or winning the competition. I'm in it for the fun and trying to help Isara do some good.

don't see it anywhere -- one submission per user right? I have 2-3 good ones, I can't make up my mind!

One submission per person is correct and it should be taken during the contest period. I think everyone has to sort between several shots and choosing the one that you feel best applies to the challenge as well as demonstrates what you are attempting to convey is one of the key elements of doing this.
