Rotoscoping brush in AE CS5

Just attended the Adobe CS5 launch locally yesterday and saw numerous live demonstrations by their worldwide evangelists.

Is it just me? But I thought this feature is just absolutely awesome and the impact far-reaching:

Doesn't that just make greenscreen redundant or rotoscopers out of work?

The other jaw-dropping feature is content-aware fill. But that is more photoshop.

I think this features is amazing. I could really use it on the project I am working on now. I don't think it will replace rotoscope just yet, but the technology is really close now I think.

Properly light greenscreens still make compositing far easier to work with than rotoscoping in post. And technologies like what Mocha for AE uses are also very nice for rotoscoping in post as well.

It would be nifty if the technology got so good that you could auto-detect highly detailed objects in a video frame and select which ones to remove with a click. Will we get there? Probably.
