Hi,

RR3 offers much less light loss (virtually none) with the expensive of slightly hazier bokeh.

We should have it on the website ready for ordering within a week.

Wow that sounds great! I wish I even had a SGblade. Trying hard to save up for it but i'm nowhere near it yet. Can't wait till that special day when I get home and see a box with an SGblade within!

Projected cost on the RR3?

Also, do you plan on offering an RR3 + improved achromat bundle to existing Blade owners ? :)
 
Hi Leo,

RR3 is £99 like our other RR's. Both RR3 and the optics upgrade will be available to existing blade owners but sold separately, not as a bundle.
 
Does anyone have an idea how long the SGBlade takes to ship? I ordered one 10 days ago, but just picked up a shoot for late this month, should I make plans to rent a Redrock?
 
I guess you should ask Wayne.

I ordered mine 2 months ago and going to receive it normally next week.
 
We will try our best to get some footage next week, weather permitting. We want to film the same shots with RR1, 2 & 3 to compare the difference.
