Rotating your clip...

Has anybody written or seen a small either frameserver type or standalone program that rotates your footage. I know that there are little programs out to to scene detect and chop up your footage and do all wierd compressions, bu t i havent found anything to rotate it.

Just though somebody would have written something by now.

do you have an example?

because the only way i can see that rotating would work would be to enlarge your image, rotate it, as to not have any black appear from the area of the frame that has no image as it rotates.

I meant rotate if uniformely 180 deg sorry, i wasn't very clear.

Just a regular 180 deg rotate to correct all the footage we shoot with adaptors that don't flip for us...

Well, Cineform products (Neo, Aspect, Prospect) can automatically flip your images as well as other things including pulldown removal as they are being ingested.
