Rotating sunflare

Was using the Redrock over the last 2 weekends with my HVX and a set of Nikons, and kept noticing some of the circular patterns from sunflare would "rotate" or spin.

Anyone else ever experience this, it's slightly distracting. Beyond framing out the offending flare, is there any way to compensate for this?

I noticed the same thing, its from the spinning "ground glass", most RRs have a slight wobble in the disk, I dont mind it. I though it looked kinda cool actually.

This was a rental unit so it may have had a more severe "wobble".

Looking forward to trying out my Letus under similar circumstances.

same problem here with sun flare. i contacted brian valente about it and he referred me to a new video on the user forum that helps you align your wobbling disc a little better. however, at some point you have to step back and accept that you are using a 35mm adapter, not shooting 35mm... there will be quirks.
