I work in a studio with limited space and have some "white room - empty white space" feel going on in my shots.
Now if possible I would like to have a full circle camera move around a talent with a prop. There are two ways I guess to achieve this:
The normal way: full circle dolly track - but that needs space, a track and creates problems with the seamless white background paper (which is only 3 meters wide)
The "other" way(?): create a rotating platform (in my case needed 2-3 feet radius)
I've used the bottom of an old rotating chair for smaller objects but this one would have to be something stable that can carry 200 pounds (the main weight at the center). The movement would be induced by hand, no fancy electronics required.
Anyone ever done this? Ideas?
Thanks
