Rotating camera mount

Hi guys. Still waiting to get the actual music video online. But here is a quick behind the scenes of a camera mount I came up with for one sequence of the video. Let me know what you think.

When the finished video is online, I will be sure to post a link.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, that looks pretty stellar. I really dig the short clip of the artist too, cool look and not something I can recall seeing recently. I'd definitely be interested in seeing some more detailed pics of how exactly it's put together.

Cool and effective... but are you able to adjust it to be a bit more nodal (centred on the sensor)

Kind words, thank you! This rig was scrapped together from some shoulder mount pieces (creating the C) while the rotation was achieved from a heavy load bearing welded to a mount. Bolted the two together, balanced best I could, and we started rolling. I was a bit nervous with the Zeiss CP2's spinning that fast

Since I no longer have the shoulder mount, i'm going to get some steel bent and repost some pictures of more recent version of this prototype.

Looks nice! First I was sort of worried that it wasn't completely centered, but I think it looked good. I think the rolling shutter actually worked, looked really psychedelic!
