rostronics softbox on a lowel omni light

I am looking into rostronics for low cost softboxes to light interviews. I already have 2 perfectly good used lowel omni's, and buying new lights (even if they are a great deal) seems wasteful. I wrote to Tom at rostronics, and he said he didn't know if thier softboxes could be adapted to fit an omni. Any ideas?

this is an old thread but no one seems to have replied - i have the same question. I got an Omni and i'd like a cheap softbox solution for it that i can take on location (most DIY stuff isnt really location-friendly)
any suggestions?

Look at the photoflex small and their speedring. The small silverdome is a nice match for the omni for interviews and costs about $115. The speed ring is about $60.
