Rosewill Firewire issue with vegas

The sony capture doesnt detect my pice forewire card rosewell rc-504. The windows 7 detects the camera. Tried both the legacy driver and updated driver for the firewirecard.

I used vegas 9 64-bit/vegas 11 64bit, windows 7 64-bit.
 
I ended up buying another firewire card and also using the legacy driver for that as well, still i hear the camera being detected by my windows 7 but still Vegas doesnt detect anything.... ughh!
 
Tried having vegas detect it in capture. Fixed the problem...

I disabled my nortan firewall and now it works.
