Rosco LEDs

Anyone ever worked with those? How do they compare to litepanels. I have seen that they even have a 24'x24'. Prices are much lower than litepanels.

Someone was talking about using these recently on Reduser.net I believe. They had good things to say as I recall. They aren't super bright but a common use will be for filming scenes in cars at night. These panels use an indirect method of getting the light out of the LEDs by shining them from the sides into a diffused glass panel. Not like most of the units out there that have LEDs directly exposed to the subject of course.

They are not as bright as litepanels, and a bit of a green spike. They are useful for product photography.

As augenblick wrote, these Roscos appear to be the same panels from Luminous Film's site at 1/3 the cost.
