Yep, for real... I'm placing a roommate ad here. I figured anybody who likes to shoot video on a DVX must be OK, right? Or at least, the right kind of weird. So basically, it's a large 3-bedroom apartment in Studio City, by Ventura and Vineland. Way off the street, last unit, nothing behind but a view of the Hollywood hills. Pretty quiet complex. Very relaxed place to live. The room is your usual 12x12, closets all along one wall. Wireless DSL. No cable TV. I have one female roommate. I also have one big, burly cat who you will most likely not befriend, but if you learn to play his game you may get the occasional rub. We go elsewhere to party. We clean our dishes as we use them. Basic grown-up stuff like that. $500/mo, $500/deposit.
 
damn, an apartment in studio city for $500 a month doesn't sound bad at all. i have a friend who has a house around that area, although I haven't talked to her in over a year.
 
It is rare, from what I've seen around here lately... studios going for over $1000! Yikes! I've been in this place for a long time and when I got it, I took over the lease from the prior tennant. God bless rent control!
