Romans were idle, well, because they won so many wars, they played more than
they worked. I'm trying right now to see the downside of playing more than work,
I'm working now more than playing, not good, not good.

I want a job where I can go in for three hours and take a two hour lunch. Is that really too much to ask?

Hehe... I did that for 5 years at disney. Though to be honest, just like Rome,
they fel tool. :)
 
I had to open this thread and see if you were starting a public bath house... or if you found a place that you can eat the same delicious meal over and over again by simply purging between courses... but unfortunately I NOW see that this thread pertains to neither!:(
 
LOL! Not sure I'd call the Romans idle - depends on the Roman!.

Sounds like you need to get a job as a dentist. ;) A lot of those guys only work 3 days a week. Of course, I would pass out from boredom probably... but if it works for you... go for it. =)
 
Being a dentist would not be fun for most people... the last time I got some work done I pretended to be knocked out by the nitrous while my dentist was flirting with the assistant... at one point he says, "you know what the best part about being a dentist is?... getting paid to make little kids cry"... I think the assistant was just as appauled as I was because he didn't even crack a smile.
 
I happen to work in a really large lawfirm and all these people that make loads are money are the most stressed out people. i've come to learn that none of these people are broke and need more money but they work so hard to attain more money even though they don't need it. So the moral of the story is that the pursuit of money wealth is what causes people to become stressed out and if you leave below your mean you wouldn't have to work so hard .

-disclaimer : this doesn't apply to all people and some people are living below their means and work very long and hard.

Hehe. Well, what can I say? It's the only thing that came to mind! I personally wouldn't ever do it but most of them do work less than many people.
