I have found problems with both the Mac and PC versions of Premiere Pro CS3, when it comes to using the rolling credits. Quite often, the program crashes and closes. I found this is true for the PC version, but when I installed the corresponding Mac version (Mac Pro, 8-core, etc.), the same thing happens.
Who else has experienced this and is there a work around? I know I can do it with After Effects by creating a solid with text on it and moving it vertically, etc. What is the best way to tell Adobe, if you know? I am not doing anything untypical.
I create a title, select the rolling title option, place a text box on the screen, and load it with text, and then place it on the timeline. Then, as I tweak it, about one in three times it crashes the program and I have to relaunch. I thought this would end when I moved the program to the Mac, but same thing occurs there, which says to me this is a real error in Adobe's coding.
Any thoughts?
