Is it possible to split one mono input to two different mono channels in order to have them at different levels for safety?
Something like the dual mono feature in marantz pmd661 and tascam dr-60d?
I have an R26 and have not seen that feature. I also have a Marantz pmd670 so appreciate that safety. The plus is that the R26 has some pretty good pre's so you can play it safe and record lower without introducing too much extra noise when normalizing or raising volume in post. Generally, I'll cover myself with a lav and boomed mic so build my own safeties into jobs.
