Roku rocks

Look ma no hands
For those of you unfamiliar with Roku, it's a device that allows you to stream Netflix instant watch movies directly to your TV. Other devices allow it too, but this thing is smaller and cheaper. I've had it for about 2 months now and I can't imagine life without it (sad, I know). I dropped my Netflix membership to one disc at a time, so I'm paying about 12 cents per movie right now.

This is the future of television, my friends.

Not familiar with it. Are you able to pause, step back and review? And more importantly, are you able to record to DVD? I like to watch movies several times, which is why I own them in the first place.

With the old TV, I had the VCR that I'd tape movies. Nowadays I don't know. Might be a criminal and all that, lol.

You can pause, fast forward and rewind. You can watch movies as many times as you want to (as long as they're still available for streaming). You can't record them, though.

Yeah I got on board at the launch of the Roku. Its pretty much all my wife and I watch anymore. No cable, no satellite, and only use OTA for news and stuff like the olympics. I am also loving all the REV3 stuff and Pandora that Roku added last thanksgiving.

I've been watching via the PS3...LOVE IT!!! I've discovered loads of movies I would have other wise never heard of.

Yeah, im a Netflix streamer via PS3 too. I love it. I wish they would allow streaming of Newer Releases but otherwise, It's a pretty awesome feature.
