Rode Stereo Video Mic with mini-jack audio lead

I'm a novice with video & sound. Just bought a Panasonic HMC 150. I have a Rode stereo mic. The camera has no mini-jack input and the Rode is 'hard-wired' with a mini-jack audio lead. How can the mic be connected to the camera to retain it's stereo capabilities? (I understand Rode do an adapter - but a reviewer on Amazon states that just plugging it into one XLR input results in mono sound???). I'd want to use the mic up to 20ft. from the camera at times. H E L P!!

There is a forum just for sound. Your better off posting this question there. Look at B&H under audio, they might have a splitter there, I think that cam has 2 XLR inputs. They are mono, so you would need to split it and go into each channel.
