Rode is a helpful bunch

Through my own fault, I broke my SM3 shock mount (the upper plastic half). I emailed Rode about how I could order a new one, and they sent me the part free, without any proof of purchase as well as some screws I told them I had lost. Received it the day after I sent them my location.

Just thought I'd share, I was quite impressed with it. Anyone have good experiences (or bad, i suppose) with other companies?

Just after the warranty on my AMD expired, I had a problem with it not running at full speed. It was an 1800, and it would only boot at 1500 or less. The dipsticks I bought it from, swore it was because I had a 1500, not the 1800. I accused them of either being idiots or thieves, and they had no comment. I called AMD, and they sent me a new one, no questions asked.

I can also give the highest praise to Anton Bauer. Every time I have had to call them, I get a live, helpful person by the second ring. Again, just as my warranty is out, I had problems with my Dionic 90 packs dying too soon. They asked me to send in the mount. I did, they found it had some deposits on the contacts. Not only did they clean it up, but they also did some upgrades- free of charge.

If there is a company half as diligent as AB, I would love to know about them!
