hey there, im new to rod systems... and i feel like since ive got the letus on my camera now... it'd be a good invest ment...

i know that the bracket that came with my letus accepts 15mm rods... and ive been told cavision sets are good quality and cheap price... but how do i know im getting the right rods?

length wise? height? i mean, it seems kinda straight forward on b&H.. but i really dont want to order ones that aren't gonna work right....

can anybody offer some tips or advice? thanks in advance

If it is the extreme I would NOT SHOOT WITHOUT RAILS. Yoou could damage your adapter and camera.

Get some of these.

If you can afford it, Zacuto and Letus make the best rail system for adapters. The Letus IMO is superior because it uses a quick release system. When looking for a rail, 45 cm is minimum and 60 cm is recommended and you really need X-Y adjustment. The IndiFocus one is functional, but there's no vertical or horizontal adjustment and the riser design means that the camera sits very high on top of the rail; not the best for balance. Both the Zacuto and Letus system have their riser protruding below the plane so that your whole system has a low center of gravity.
