One is way cheaper and I don't need a matte box or anything besides a good static 35mm lens adapter support system.


Will the 8mm system work? I'd rather spend the money on something else-

I´ve heard too many anouncing something and showing in 3D is much easier than to keep the promise later.

I´ve got my baseplate from Geardear. com , affordable and lightweight - and already on the market. You need to be able to fix your camera rocksteady, so that you can have your camera at least vertical.
And with an adapter like M2 you have to deal with more weight than only the camera...
The baseplate usually doesn´t need to be height adjustable with screws, this makes the piece much more instable. If you really want to raise your camera, you can always use shims in between baseplate and camera, which gives the camera a stable contact to the baseplate.
