Just wondering if anyone here's into rocketry, the big stuff or the small stuff. I've been doing it for 8 or 9 years.

Just recently got my L2 certification (means I get to play with bigger motors)

I was really into model rocketry yeeeeeears ago. Good times. That video (and the sound of the launch) brings back a lot of memories.

Thanks for the flashback.

I remember my last rocket that we used a 29mm G40-10 i think that was the engine or one like that. It flew so high I thought we had lost it, the rocket was about 1.5 ft long and very light so with that large of a engine we had quite the launch... Also used streamers instead of parachute and it worked great it landed 50ft from the pad.

I used to set off little C class rockets, loads of fun but a tat on the expensive side (what hobby isnt)

With a new little one at home, I'm looking forward to getting back into it...just the Estes stuff to start with...
